Trustees fundamentally need to earn the trust of the parents and teachers in our district, so I'd like to tell you why I'm running.  I think It is time to refocus on our students' needs and invest in the recruitment and retention of our teachers. We can only do this by keeping the politics and side shows out of our district by staying away from the already banned programs and being the voice for our parents rather than their enemy.  My spouse works in the district and I have three children currently attending CCISD schools with one who graduated from Clear Springs. I am invested in our district's success.  Our schools are full, we are short on teachers and innovation doesn’t show up with a partisan vote. It takes people who can listen, share ideas, and effectively collaborate for the mission and goal, which is the education and future of our kids.
